1 I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. 2 Because He turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
What have I gotten myself into? For those who don’t know or cannot imagine it, I am a little shy! Now, stop laughing, it is true, really I am!!! Yet, I refuse to be a victim of the debilitating feelings that can wash over me when I need to ask for something. When doing so for someone else, it is so much easier. When it is not for me.
This desire/need to help has opened me up to opening my mouth on behalf of others. Ree’s Needle Arts for Hope Initiative is up and running and my fingers have been flying! Lately, my choked silent prayer has been “Lord, I cannot do this by myself, I need help! ” I have been moving in faith, P.O. box opened in anticipation of donations pouring in and posting and passing out flyers. With these small acts and prayer, He heard and answered!
There will be warm necks, heads, laps and hands this Winter thanks to the efforts of those of us who believe we truly are our brother and sister’s keepers!
Making His praise glorious!
