Purely by the grace of God and the kindness of Paulette at “Paulette’s Blog“, I was nominated for the “Illuminating Bloggers Award.” Upon visiting Paulette’s blog, immediately it is apparent that she passionately and genuinely loves the Lord and has a true heart for worship. Each time I read her blog I feel that God has provided a wonderful place of worship in this chaotic world! I thank God for her and her inspiring words of encouragement, love and worship! Thank you, Paulette for nominating me for this award. I pray to keep on striving to Make His praise glorious!

1. God directs and inspires the words I write and prayer infuses my knitting projects; 2. I am extremely shy, though not when writing or sharing the love of God; 3. I started blogging because a friend insisted to the point of sending me a link; 4. I married one of my elementary schoolmates after reconnecting with him on Facebook ; 5. I learned to knit thanks to YouTube, other internet sites and patient co-workers; 6. I feel blessed that God saw fit to rekindle my love of words and the courage to share them; and 7. I love the Lord far more than I love chocolate!!

Hi again Renee, I was wondering if you would share with me if you want to, what you felt when you first found out you were chosen for this Award.
I always feel encouraged and up lifted remembering all good things come from God including our good motivation and I’m thankful for their kindness in choosing me, it’s good to see that like you they were also chosen to be uplifted by others.

I felt truly humbled. Anytime I sit down to write I know that it is God speaking through me. I have not been able to consistently write in a journal, yet He provides words almost daily. I pray that the recognition means that the seds of God’s word is getting out there and landing on good fertile soil. I write as worship and often consider what God is saying to me, totally against the grain of writing for an audience. I seek to please my audience of One, I pray that Jesus is pleased and cannot rest on my laurels believing the task complete. Be blessed!

Thank you Renee, to me Blogging is communication never one sided, we are the Body of Christ and need each other but I agree Jesus is our Head and we look to Him first.
We would like to bless you with an Award Renee this is a bit differant as it has no rules, it’s more like a blessing and some call it that, you can accept it as you feel in your heart or not, it’s to affirm we are one, we are family.
